I spent 1 night here and really enjoyed that. Convenient hotel, the staff were all excellent and competent and the location was favourable in the Des Moines area. The food selection was reasonably priced. The queen room was outstanding and had central heating, pay TV and a microwave oven. Location: the venue was short walk to a business park close to businesses, restaurants and shopping areas and the regional airport. Plus, it was 5 minutes drive by car from Carney Marsh Nature Preserve.

The room was never cleaned during our four-day stay, resulting in overflowing trash cans and unkempt towels. We struggled with a faulty toilet that only flushed intermittently and a door lock that was annoying to operate. The pillows were fluffy and provided comfort for a good night's sleep, while the location was conveniently close to local attractions. Sadly, the outdoor areas could use better maintenance, as bird droppings made the fire pit seating uninviting.
